Cloth: Indigo

The women weavers and dyers of Ock Pop Tok, the fair trade and Living Crafts Center in Luang Prabang, Laos, created this handwoven, indigo-dyed hemp cloth. This durable fabric is the basis for clothing and household items. Use it in combination with the batik or natural hemp fabric in creating your own unique project.

This cloth should be washed alone or with jeans until the excess indigo is washed away. Indigo may rub off on skin but it easily washes off. If combining it with other cloth, especially light-colored, you’ll want to dry clean the final product.

Order by the yard, with 1-yard minimum. To order multiple yards, update quantity.
