Raffia Small Tote Bag
This uniquely designed bag is made from raffia, a palm fiber, which is stripped, handspun, naturally dyed and then handwoven into fabric. The men and women from the Molokai villages in the D.R. Congo of Africa share in the making of the bags—the men weave and the women finish the bags by sewing and braiding the straps. The cloth is sturdy and durable making it perfect for carrying your crafts projects or your finds at the local market. Tote bag may vary in striping and plaid design.
