Spend time with J’alqa and Candelaria weavers in their villages and explore the famous Tarabuco Market. Tour a silver mine in Potosi (UNESCO World Heritage site) and visit the Royal Mint House. Travel through the high plateau, see herds of llamas and vicunas, and the long vistas from the edge of trails. Watch the sunset over the magical salt flats of Uyuni, and lodge at a salt hotel on the edge of the flats. Visit the National Museum of Ethnography and Folklore in La Paz. Wander through the bustling street markets where Aymara vendors sell handmade products, fresh local produce, medicinal herbs, and more.
