This naturally-dyed handwoven tote features black leather trim with a striking decorative band. The pattern is a special motif from Accha Alta a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. The colors are derived from flowers, roots, insect, and bark.
This fully-lined bag features one interior zipped pocket, a zipped top closure, and double carrying straps. The double straps, bottom base, and top trim are black leather.
This tote bag was woven by Cirilia Quispe Huaman, a member of the Accha Alta community and cooperative member of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru.
