Horizontal bands of alpaca wool in beautiful natural browns, white, and black frame a horizontal band of diamond motifs. Woven by artisans from the CTTC village of Accha Alta, Peru, each bag varies slightly according to the person who made it.
Fully lined, the bag is well-constructed and has an interior zippered pocket and a zippered closure. The flat base, about 7 1/2″ long x 4″ wide, gives the bag additional structure. Straps, soft and pliable, yet sturdy, the bag is a pleasure to carry.
This bag was woven by Hildred Human Condori, a member of the Accha Alta village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
