Product Description

Hand-stitched embroidery and appliqué inspired by local motifs find their way onto this one-of-a-kind cotton/linen Kutch pillow cover. Sure to be a global treasure in your home decorating scheme.

The stylized top motif is composed of a finely-embroidered motif representing sheep horns. The lower half is both applique and embroidery depicting images from their local natural plants, animals, and scorpions.  The pillow is edged with a thin cord further accentuating the design. The back cover has no stitching; the closure is envelope-style made for ease of pillow insertion.

The Qasab-Kutch Craftswomen’s Producer Co. Ltd is a collective enterprise of 1500 + rural women from 11 ethnic communities spread across 65 villages in the arid interior of Kutch, India.
