Product Description

Narrow inlaid darts of contrasting color pierce the sides of theses scarves, leaving their tail tufts at the edge for decoration.

Handwoven of 100% silk and naturally dyed, the shawl is finished with a twisted fringe. Made with very fine silk, the wrap is light-weight with excellent drape.

Lao Textile and Natural Dyes Gallery features the tapestry weaving of the Tai Lue, one of the largest of the ethnic minorities who live in northwest Laos. It is located in the weaving village of Xien Lek, north of  Luang Prabang, a world heritage site in Laos.
