Product Description
This roomy east west tote is a rainbow of woven stripes featuring bands of traditional motifs. The unique colors are achieved by natural dyes extracted from flowers, insects, barks and roots. The stripes vary in width and in color pattern, based on the weaver who made it, making each bag unique, just like the rainbow.
This fully-lined bag features one interior zipped pocket, a zipped 11” top closure, and double carrying straps. The double straps and top trim are woven of sturdy warp-faced striped bands.
This bag was woven by Eduardo Ylla Chicche, a member of the Chahuaytire community and cooperative member of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru.
