This colorful handwoven bag in cochineal and sage green with rose, gold and indigo accents has a decorative upper band. The pattern is a special motif from Chinchero, a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. The colors are derived from flowers, roots, insect, and bark.
