Dusky Red  and an earthy purple provide the dominant colors in this handwoven Peruvian bag.  The colors are derived from flowers, roots, insect, and bark. The dominate center band represents special motifs from Chinchero, a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco.

This durable and finely handwoven alpaca/wool bag is fully lined, has an interior zipped pocket, and double carrying straps for carrying plenty. The zippered top features nawi awapa edging.

About 16″ wide X 13″ high; bottom gusset approx 5.5″ X 10.5″; double straps approx 32″ long.

This bag was woven by Florentina Quispe Huaman, a member of the Chinchero village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
