The women weavers and dyers of Ock Pop Tok, the fair trade and Living Crafts Center in Luang Prabang, Laos, created this handwoven, batiked, indigo-dyed hemp cloth. Batik is a dye-resist technique using wax to create patterns and traditionally done by the Blue Hmong. Use it in combination with the indigo or hemp fabric in creating your own unique project.
This fabric should be washed alone or with darks. Each area of batik is unique and varies in design and length. Order by the yard, with 1 yard minimum. To order multiple yards, update quantity.
