This natural alpaca hat or ch’ullo was hand knit by Peruvian artisan Cansaya Condon Benito, a member of the Huacatinco cooperative of The Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco (CTTC). It features a charming scalloped edge, decorative embellishments and a top tassel.
The Center for Traditional Textiles works with Quechua weavers and knitters to ensure that their 2000-year old textile traditions continue to thrive, and to aid in economic development.
To determine if this size fits: 18 inches — measure your child’s head circumference. These hats are measured without stretching; if you’d like a little more room, order the next circumference up.
