Product Description

This reversible silk scarf is hand embroidered in the kantha style by women artisans in Kolkata.

This scarf is made by layering pieces of carefully-selected silk saris in a reversible combination, then stitching them together with an allover decorative running stitch of kantha. The kantha adds depth and texture yet the scarf remains lightweight. It’s a perfect transitional accessory into the spring season.

The kantha scarves are a new Red Sari collaboration with a world fair trade organization in Kolkata, India. The Red Sari is a socially responsible fashion design company with a primary mission to create sustainable jobs for women in Nepal while being environmentally aware.
