Product Description
This naturally-dyed handwoven tote features black leather trim and two matching decorative bands. The pattern is a special motif from Patabamba a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. The colors are derived from flowers, roots, insect, and bark.
This fully-lined bag features one interior zipped pocket, a zipped top closure, and double carrying straps. The double straps, bottom base, and top trim are black leather.
This tote bag was woven by Luzmila Ojeda Bueno, a member of the Patabamba community and cooperative member of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru.
Fiber: 90% wool, 10% alpaca
Size: 14″w x 14″h; 4.5″ x 10” bottom base; 13″ double strap to shoulder
Colors: deep purple and forest green, with accents or jade, cochineal, rose and gold
