This messenger bag has it all: an inside cushioned sleeve, an adjustable strap, and an outside zipped pocket. Plus it’s handwoven by a Guatemalan weaving cooperative.
Backstrap woven of cotton, it’s designed to be stylish and extremely functional. There’s a padded inside compartment for a tablet or iPad that closes with a magnetic latch. The top closes with a 12″ zipper and the flap is secured with two magnetic latches. A six-inch zipper with leather pull secures a small pocket on the back of the bag. The leather strap is adjustable.
Y’abal is a social enterprise in the highlands of Guatemala that partners with indigenous women’s cooperatives to promote the art of backstrap weaving and create a handwoven collection inspired by Mayan traditions.
