With its natural alpaca stripes, this simple shoulder bag is a handsome accent to any outfit. The top decorative band has traditional motifs from the Chahuaytire-Pisac area in the Peruvian highlands.
The durable and finely handwoven alpaca/wool bag is fully lined, has an interior zipped pocket, and strong straps for carrying plenty. It has a zipped closure. The flat base, about 8″ long x 6″ wide, gives the bag additional structure.
This large bag was woven by Felix Quispe Ylla, a member of the Chahuaytire-Pisac village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
