Product Description
This naturally-dyed handwoven tote features black leather trim and two matching embroidered decorative bands. The embroidered pattern is a special motif and technique from Santa Cruz de Sallac, a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. The colors feature the natural hues of alpaca.
This fully-lined bag features one interior zipped pocket, a zipped top closure with added pompoms, and double carrying straps. The double straps, bottom base, and top trim are black leather.
This tote bag was woven by Susana Quispe Turpo, a member of the Santa Cruz de Sallac community and cooperative member of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru.
