Product Description
This backstrap woven Peruvian scarf with three vertical bands featuring the pebble weave technique showcases traditional motifs from Patabamba. Cochineal with rust, sage and rose accents provide a warm background to set off the striking bands. Beautifully finished with a twisted fringe.
This scarf was woven by Vincenta Rocca Ayte, a member of the Patabamba Community and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
Colors: rust, sage, cochineal with accent rose
Fiber: 90% wool, 10% alpaca
