Product Description
This colorful handwoven bag in sage and rust with rose accents has a decorative upper band. The pattern is a special motif from Chinchero, a member village in the Peruvian Highlands of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco. The colors are derived from flowers, roots, insect, and bark.
This durable, fully-lined bag features one interior zipped pocket, a zipped 12” top closure, and double carrying straps. The double straps and top trim are woven of sturdy warp-faced striped bands.
This bag was woven by Maribel Quispe Quillahuman, a member of the Chinchero community and cooperative member of the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, Peru.
Fiber: 90% wool, 10% alpaca
