Product Description
This backstrap woven Peruvian scarf with one vertical band featuring the pebble weave technique showcases traditional motifs from Patabamba. Cochineal with rust, sage and rose accents provide a warm background to set off the striking bands. Beautifully finished with a twisted fringe.
This scarf was woven by Martine Quispe Huaman, a member of the Patabamba Community and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
Colors: cochineal, sage with accents rose, rust
Fiber: 90% wool, 10% alpaca
Size: 7″ W x 76″ L plus 4″ twisted fringe
