Product Description

This naturally dyed wool, alpaca scarf has traditional patterning from the Patabamba village in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco. Traditional motifs are combined by the artisan to produce one-of-a-kind textiles. This handsome scarf features the condor, an agricultural scale and other traditional geometric designs. Handwoven on a backstrap loom it is finished with a beautiful twisted fringe.

This scarf was woven by an artisan member of the Patabamba village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
