Peruvian Tasseled Pillow

Product Description

What better way to warm up your living environs than adding the beauty of naturally dyed handwoven pillows from the Peruvian CTTC-member weaving village of Chinchero.

This pillow front has a patterned striped design featuring motifs often seen in Chinchero weaving; the back is made of a commercial fabric and zips closed. Tassels frame the corners.

These are easy care–hand wash and lay flat to dry.

This pillow was woven by Guadalupe Alvarez, a member of the Chinchero village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
