Handwoven by the CTTC-member village of Chinchero in the Peruvian Highlands, these small handbags are durable and attractive. Every design and naturally-dyed coloring is unique. The edges are embellished with ñawi awapa braid which becomes the wrist handle. One of these pouches is not enough; you’ll want one for your electronics, cosmetics and small wallet.
This bag was woven by Maribel Quispe Quillahuaman, a member of the Chinchero village and cooperative member of Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco, located in the Peruvian Highlands of Cusco.
