Federation Sahalandy launched in 2006 to restore wild silk culture and traditional hand spinning and hand weaving. The Federation is made up of seven spinning and weaving cooperatives located throughout the surrounding communities of Fandriana, in the mountain area of Sahdrandahy, Madagascar.
